Homonyms remain one of the most difficult, yet essential, hurdles that both our students and speech recognition programs face in understanding English.
As somebody who often teaches homonymns, I look forward to reading your book. It sounds - pun intended - wonderful and practical on multiple levels.
I found this book to be quite interesting and believe it will be helpful to second language learners of American English who understand or are trying to understand the language from a cultural perspective. Specifically, the "How Come" section helps learners to develop a cultural appreciation of the language and the "Life's Most Pressing Questions" and "Did You Know" sections gives these learners a rare glimpse into the inquisitive psyche of Americans, which I believe is one reason we are so "innovative".
